Spanish, French, ASL, and more β free language learning for kids. Free, no login required.
Label items around the house in two languages. After your child learns basic Spanish or French vocabulary, stick small labels on everyday objects β "la puerta" on the door, "la fenΓͺtre" on the window. Seeing the words daily builds passive recognition that makes active recall much easier when they return to the tool.
Learn ASL as a family project. The ASL Alphabet tool works beautifully as a shared activity. Practice finger-spelling names, spelling out dinner options, or having "silent conversations" at the table. ASL benefits all children, not just those in deaf or hard-of-hearing communities β it strengthens visual-spatial skills and provides an alternative communication channel.
Connect language learning to cultural exploration. When your child learns Spanish greetings, cook a simple recipe from a Spanish-speaking country together. When they learn French colors, look at paintings from French artists. Language is inseparable from culture, and connecting the two makes both more meaningful and memorable.
