Seventh grade math centers on proportional relationships, rational number operations, and geometry β three pillars that carry directly into algebra. Connect proportions to real decisions. Proportional reasoning is the most practical math skill your 7th grader will learn: comparing prices per ounce, scaling recipes, understanding speed and distance, calculating tips.
