Understanding Georgia Standards of Excellence
The Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE) define what students in Georgia's public schools should know and be able to do at each grade level. Adopted in 2015 to replace the previous Common Core Georgia Performance Standards, GSE maintains the rigor and coherence of nationally recognized frameworks while incorporating Georgia-specific expectations.
